Ingredients
- Buckwheat groats150 g (≈¾ cup)
- Button mushrooms250 g (≈10 pcs)
- Onion80 g (≈1 pc)
- Water or GF broth check the label500 ml (≈2 cups)
- Hard cheese check the label40 g (≈a handful)
Method
- (5 min) Chop the onion and mushrooms, mince the garlic.
- (7 min) Sauté the onion and mushrooms until golden.
- (3 min) Add the buckwheat, toast for 1 min.
- (13 min) Add the broth a ladle at a time until the grain is tender.
- Stir in the cheese and thyme.
