Ingredients

  • Cabbage≈1 kg (1 large head)
  • Potatoes≈700 g (5–6 pcs)
  • Carrot≈120 g (1 pc)
  • Bell pepper≈240 g (2 pcs)
  • Tomatoes≈300 g (3 pcs)
  • Gluten-free vegetable seasoning check the label
    Use ready-made blends only if labeled gluten-free, or make your own mix
    2 tbsp (≈24 g)

Method

  1. (2 min) Pour 1.5 l of boiling water into a pot.
  2. (12 min) Add the peppercorns, carrot, and onion; cook for 10 min.
  3. (5 min) Add the cabbage, potato, and pepper, season lightly.
  4. (3 min) Add the grated tomatoes, GF seasoning, bay leaf, and oil.
  5. (48 min) Simmer covered for 45–50 min over low heat.
  6. Let it rest, sprinkle with herbs to serve.
