Shrimp Fried Rice (Tamari)

A quick lunch using tamari instead of soy sauce.

Ingredients

  • Peeled shrimp200 g (≈12–14 pcs)
  • Rice150 g (≈¾ cup dry)
  • Mixed vegetables check the label150 g (≈1.5 cups)
  • Tamari (wheat-free) check the label
    Not regular soy sauce
    2 tbsp (30 ml)
  • Garlic, ginger6 g + 10 g

Method

  1. (15 min) Cook the rice until done.
  2. (3 min) Sauté the garlic and ginger, add the vegetables for 2–3 min.
  3. (4 min) Add the shrimp, cook until pink.
  4. (2 min) Stir in the rice and tamari, heat through.
  5. Sprinkle with green onion.
